Ratatouille

Ratatouille


A friend of mine told me that her dad once said that if women knew how saucy men think hats are they'd wear them more often. With its distinctive construction, fashionable colors and modern shape this hat fits the bill.

It is an easy knit that a beginner can learn a lot from and an expert will have fun knitting.



MEASUREMENTS:

Finished Size: Adult Regular; One size fits most


MATERIALS:

Yarn: Cascade 220 Quatro (100% Peruvian highland wool; 220 yd 201 m/100 g): #9438 tahiti; Cascade 220 Wool (100% Peruvian highland wool; 220 yd 201m/100g): #9537 marled brown—1 hank ea color.


Needle: Size US 9 (5.5 mm) 16" circs, 1 set of 5 dpn's, and 12" straights or size to obtain gauge.


Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle


Gauge: 18 sts and 24 rows= 4" in St st


NOTES:

Brim worked back and forth then sts are pu to work the rise of the hat.

The color sequence follows Fibonacci numbering.
