Stop calling Crochet...KNITTING!






Now, this is an interesting piece. BUT...all the pictures are of the ladies handy hook work..NOT HER KNITTING!!! So, sorry to be a pest but STOP CALLING HER CROCHET, KNITTING!!!

    Here here! I can't tell you how many times I've had to correct people.

    Friend: What are you knitting?
    Me: Nothing.
    Friend: But...uhhhh...
    Me: I'm crocheting.
    Friend: Fine! What are you CROCHETING??

    can you imagine seeing a car going down the road in a crocheted doiley. I would love to see that.

    What I love is when someone asks me what I'm knitting, and how it's been years since they've knit... to which I wish I could just call "BULLSHIT!... THIS IS CROCHET!!"

    -I'm not knitting, I'm crocheting.

    Whatever. (optional add-on) Same thing.
