Crochet Dishcloth Free Pattern #2

But I told myself that I could do it and I did. Because I like the HARDINESS of the fabric that crochet makes I chose to use that method of stitching for my dishcloths. Figuring it wouldn't be very hard to pick a few stitch patterns that looked cool I pulled out my Crochet Stitch Bible and began to work them up.
Dishcloth #2: The Sprig Stitch
Yarn: 2 oz ball of Sugar n Cream in Butter Cream Ombre. (Didn't use whole ball)
Hook: size H/8 5mm
Stitch Guide:
chain
slip stitch
single crochet
Abbreviations:
Multiple of Stitches: 4 stitches + 2 (add 1 for foundation ch)
Pattern: Ch 26

- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- sp - space
Multiple of Stitches: 4 stitches + 2 (add 1 for foundation ch)
Pattern: Ch 26
- Row 1: 2 SC in 4th ch from hook, 2 CH, 2 SC in next ch, *skip 2 ch, 2 SC in next ch, 2 CH, 2 SC in next ch, repeat from * to last 2 ch, skip 1 ch, 1 SC in last ch, turn.
- Row 2: 3 CH, [2 SC, 2 CH, 2 SC] in each 2 ch sp, ending 1 SC in 3rd of 3 ch, turn.
- Repeat Row 2: 15 times
- Last Row: 3 CH, [2 SC, 2 CH, 2 SC] in each 2 ch sp, ending 1 SC in 3rd of 3 ch, finish off.
That's it! Easy huh?

Good job Marly, I checked out Ravelry, I can't wait to be able to use it. I saw your post just in the nick of time to enter the contest. Good luck to you but I want to win the yarn and pattern! I you are feeling better and you can go to Knit Knack on Saturday. We shall see what I do with all my STR. mmm... maybe a Arvada Knits group contest for a skein or 2!
