Vicodin + Crochet Class=Fun?

Yep, I decided to go to my Beginning Crochet Class tonight to teach 8 wonderful women how to crochet. Let me just say, it was interesting to say the least.

I was dizzy a couple of times, forgot what I was talking about a few times and mis-read the instructions a couple of other times...but all in all I don't think I lost any of them. At least I hope not. Hey, I even added an extra class to the schedule to help them out a little bit more!

On a side note, I was thinking today about what I said when I "woke up" from being sedated. I think I told the dentist that his bed side manner sucked! Not a good idea...right? I am not totally sure if I did tell him that but I do remember talking about it a lot and I cannot be sure that he wasn't in the room. Oh well...

Well, like I told John. I really didn't care about his bedside manner at that time...I wanted a good dentist. You know what I mean?

So, I think I am going to submit some pattern ideas to Interweave Knits and Knitscene. I figured...what the heck. I can throw my hat in the ring. As my friend Kristin says...submit everywhere so you don't put all your eggs in one basket :-) I love Kristin!!!

Glad you are feeling better. I wish I could've been a fly on the wall during your crochet class, I'm sure you were a riot! Of course you'll submit to IK and Knitscene, and they'll love them!!

I think Vicodin is a GREAT idea during a class. Okay, maybe not during a class, but it's fun.

I actually have some of my best idea when I'm hopped up on painkillers. Or bloody marys.
