Crochet Dishcloth Free Pattern #1

!!!FREE PATTERN!!!

Never had I made a dishcloth before the other weekend. Actually, after the Harlot story I was a little afraid to make any!

But I told myself that I could do it and I did. Because I like the HARDINESS of the fabric that crochet makes I chose to use that method of stitching for my dishcloths. Figuring it wouldn't be very hard to pick a few stitch patterns that looked cool I pulled out my Crochet Stitch Bible and began to work them up.

I have to admit though...not all the stitches I tried turned out good on the first try.
Exhibit A:

Can you see it?

What do those look like to you? BOOBS! Rip out...start over!

After a few trial and errors...I found some that worked! So, I thought I would give you all ..FREE PATTERNS!!!

I have lots og cottonyarn oddballs, maybe I should make some dishcloths again. I made a few some years ago with only sc stitches. I have used them alot and they last forever! But they are not nearly as nice as the two you show here.

I just made up some knitting dishcloths. I'll have a go at your pattern tonight (supposed to be reading about Greek and Church History - blah!)

Never had I understood the obsession with dishcloths until I discovered Sugar 'n Cream cotton. It's like it was meant to be. I haven't made any yet though. Mayhaps I'll try one of your patterns. :)

Thanks for the FREE pattern!

I am trying to learn & practice my crocheting and the Fan Discloth will be perfect for me since I am tryingto learn all of those techniques.

And of course I have some S&C just laying around. Going to my knit/crochet group tonight so they can show me how to do this! LOL
